AlbaNova is an Edinburgh-based AI and automation firm that automates the operations of professional services firms: contracts, invoicing, reporting, request handling and research, connected across the systems they already use.

Chiraag Mutreja
I’ve spent 15+ years delivering operational and technology change inside some of the UK’s largest organisations: Accenture, Barclays, HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group. Most recently I’ve worked as an AI Business Partner, building AI and automation into live operational processes, including cutting the time to triage and fulfil a client request from 6 weeks to 4 days.
In those organisations, the same pattern came up again and again. The systems were fine. The work between the systems (copying data, chasing approvals, checking invoices, sorting the inbox) was where the time went.
Large firms can throw a transformation programme at that. Most professional services firms of 10 to 250 people can’t, and shouldn’t have to. I founded AlbaNova to give them the same rigour without the programme: find the processes worth automating, build them properly on the tools they already use, and measure the result in hours and pounds.
